صدر پنجاب آرچری ایسوسی ایشن و صدر ٹریڈیشنل آرچری فیڈریشن پاکستان جناب عمران علی لیاقت نے گورنر پنجاب جناب بلیغ الرحمان سے آرچری کے فروغ کے حوا لے سے تبادلہ خیال کیا.. گورنر صاحب نے اس سلسلے میں نہ صرف ہر ممکن تعاون کا یقین دلایا بلکہ معاملات کو حتمی شکل دینے کے لیے صدر آرچری ایسوسی ایشن کو گورنر ہاؤس تشریف لانے کی دعوت دی جسے انھوں نے قبول کر لیا.. اس کے ساتھ ساتھ صدر پنجاب آرچری ایسوسی ایشن و صدر ٹریڈیشنل آرچری فیڈریشن پاکستان جناب عمران علی لیاقت نے یو ایس کونسل جنرلWilliam “Wil” Makaneole سے بھی ملاقات کی جس میں آرچری کے فروغ اور یو ایس اے میں پاکستانی آرچری کوچز کی ٹریننگ کے سلسلے میں تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی.. اس سلسلے میں معزز یو ایس کونسل جنرل نے اپنے بھر پور تعاون کا یقین دلایا اور دونوں شخصیات کے درمیان ایک دوسرے سے رابطے میں رہنے پر اتفاق ہوا..President Punjab Archery Association and President Traditional Archery Federation Pakistan Malik Imran Ali Liaqat along with Nawab Furqan Khan President Tranditional Sports And Games had an exclusive meeting with the Governor Punjab Mr. Baleegh ur Rehman and discussed the prospects of Olympic and Traditional archery sport promotion in the far flung areas of Punjab. The honourable Governor graciously promised to extend every sort of cooperation in this regard and invited the President Punjab Archery Association to the Governor House to finalize matters whatsoever. The President PAA accepted the invitation. The President Punjab Archery Association and President Traditional Archery Federation Pakistan Malik Imran Ali Liaqat also had a thorough meeting with US Consul General….. and requested him to extend his cooperation for archery promotion and to facilitate Pakistani archery coaches training in the United States. The honourable Consul General assured every sort of cooperation regarding promotion of archery sport in Pakistan and both personalities agreed to be be constantly in touch in this regard.
