Introduction/History
Punjab Archery association is a subsidiary of Pakistan Archery Federation. Pakistan Archery Federation was established with a vision to function as a governing body to develop and promote the archery all over Pakistan and ensure representation of Pakistan in Olympics and regional and international events. The Archery Federation of Pakistan has made its mark under the kind and efficacious supervision and patronage of the President of Archery Federation of Pakistan, Lt. General (Retd.) Syed Arif Hasan who is also the Chairman of Pakistan Olympic Association.

First of all, I would like to congratulate Punjab Archery Association on breaking new ground and launching their website. This web site and their facebook pages will efficiently provide you with updates to all of our leagues, tournaments, training workshops, and special events coming up.
When it comes to archery, Pakistan Archery Federation and its subsidiary associations have a very large range of opportunities and prospects inland and abroad. We are duly affiliated with World Archery Federation and International Olympic Committee. We plan, arrange and manage indoor and outdoor events for almost all styles and variants of archery. These events are not just for the experts and professionals! Everyone is welcome, even the beginners and amateur archers.

I feel immensely honoured and highly privileged to have this great opportunity to express my views on this forum on behalf of Punjab Archery Association (PAA). My appreciation goes to all members of Punjab Archery Association who have contributed towards successful launching of this website and faced the challenge of Covid-19 pandemic with unparalleled perseverance.
As PAA President, my responsibility is to create a sustainable, competitive and congenial environment for the best and optimum growth of archery sport and improvement of our self-image and value to make the association popular and highly reliable through hard work, commitment, dedication, credibility, integrity, equity, and fairness.
Different Variants of Archery
Many archery activities can be done with either a compound bow, longbow or recurve bow. Different types of archery include bow- hunting, target archery, 3D target archery, traditional archery or field archery.
